Nigerian rapper/hip-hop recording artiste, Tobechukwu Melvin Ejiofor, popularly known by his stage name Illbliss has given up on his musical career. Illbliss announced this via his Instagram page, on Thursday.
“Thank you all for being with me throughout this amazing musical journey. Good bye to the game, i’m gone. Next chapter,” he announced.
The rapper who was among the few artistes who started the “Igbo Boys” rap movement and also fondly called “Dat Igbo Boy”, has been in the musical struggle for a while now.
Despite being one of the most talented in the industry with enviable punchlines, the rapper after releasing several songs can still not be named among the cabals of artistes that will sell out a concert, a stage at which an artiste is considered to have “blown” in Street lingo.
He is signed to music director, Clarence Peter’s Gorretii label.
