Wizkid dazzles Drake with "Ojuelegba," Drake follows him on instagram

Not that U.S rapper Drake is a god or something, but this is important coming just some hours after Black Entertainment Television (BET) Director of Programming and Production, Lilian Blankson took to Twitter to say that Nigerian music are not given much recognition by them because it is not up to international standard.

Her statement is contrary to the unending praise and accolades Nigerian artistes have been getting world-wide in recent times over the quality of our music.

And anyone who watches foreign music station a lot cannot help but notice the trash being churned out by many western artistes lately, unlike in the past when music was music!

So, UK artist Skepta (who is a British-born Nigerian Grime artist) played Wizkid's Ojuelegba song for Drake and he loved the song and followed Wizkid on Instagram.

Drake must have been so enchanted by the unique sound coming out of Nigeria that he even quoted lyrics from Ojuelegba on his instagram page; "I'm thanking God for a Life, I can't explain".

What ensued between Drake and Wizkid is another attestation to the good works of Nigerian artistes.

WizKid has gotten a lot of international attention over the past few years, linking up with Chris Brown, Young Jeezy, Wale, Akon, and The Game.
