Zambian President, Edgar Lungu collapses during International women's Day celebration

During the celebration of the International Women's Day today in Zambian, the country's President Edgar Lungu collapsed while acknowledging a match past by some women.

Lungu who was immediately rushed to a military hospital was diagnosed with Malaria and acute stress.

The president eventually came back on stage to encourage the people to remain calm.

President Lungu only came into power in January after president Michael Sata died in office in October 2014.
