Colleagues react to actor Muna Obiekwe's death

The death of actor Muna Obiekwe is meeting Nigeria and indeed the entertainment industry in great shock. Many of his colleagues who were initially in doubt of the news of his death have now come to terms with reality as it's obvious Muna is gone forever. Above is the reactions from Mike Ezuruonye and stella Damasus who took to their separate social media account to show their sadness. Also actress, Ifeoma Okereke also took to her instagram page to mourn her colleague's passing and blamed some in the industry for not rallying round him when he needed help...

"I truly hate to be a harbinger of bad news but I want to confirm that Muna Obiekwe is dead! And am so angry! Yes not just because we lost another great talent but because in this industry we are not our brothers keeper. Yes, Muna might have wanted or lived a private life but people knew he was sick, people knew his health condition and yet what did they do? Some tried but if they had cried out to the world Muna might have gotten help. We are just colleagues No real friends! Rest In Peace Muna", Ifeoma Okoke wrote.

Also reacting was the president of the Actors' Guild of Nigeria, Ibinabo Fiberesima, who reportedly spoke with PREMIUM TIMES on phone.

"Muna was a fanstatic person but he was just a very private person, that's all I can say for now," Ibinabo said.

Uche jombo wrote on her
Instagram page; "Its not the length of life but the depth of life, RIP Muna".
