At last! Wizkid gets recognized in 2014, featured in World's most popular music magazine

Just as we were pitying him and wondering why Davido is getting all the accolades and nobody seems to remember the Starboy crooner, Wizkid's second album 'Ayo (Joy)' has been featured in the world's leading music magazine Rolling Stone. The influential music magazine rated Wizkid's sophomore effort as one of the '15 Great Albums You Didn't Hear In 2014'.

Rolling Stone wrote "Arriving in September, 'Ayo' placed the biggest of the latter alongside new tracks that grab slang from Jamaica and salute women with a "bum bum bigger than Bombay." Throughout, the 24-year-old uses deft, nimble flows to glide over complex beats and he writes hooks that will keep you humming for weeks."

Wizkid posted the screen shot of his Rolling Stone picture on Instagram. Well that's for those of you who say we don't like Wizkid, we are happy for him o...this has to be the best thing to have happened to his career this year apart from releasing the album.
