A Young Ghanaian artiste Akoo Nana has been attracting quite a a barrage of criticism after he tried to be daring with his act, last Friday, by parading naked female dancers at the Tigo Unplugged concert  held at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Nana brought on stage three naked dancers whose faces were covered with paper masks, and virtually naked except for pieces of scanty loin cloths covering their underparts, but the show organisers dragged them off stage to save the their show from embarrassment.

Here is what Akoo Nana said In an interview with citifm;

"I'm embarking on my breast cancer campaign and I'm dropping a video, which features various health professionals, to sensitize people on breast cancer."

"I wanted to break the performance at a point and educate people on breast cancer. But the crowd was hyper and I wanted to get to the end of my performance to do that but I couldn't finish the act."

"I'm a chief and a chief will not promote anything bad. The girls were not naked. They wore something from their waist down. People paid huge sums to watch Umoja, why are we not talking about that. My act was well planned to send a message home, that we need to do more to prevent breast cancer."

For close to five minutes, the topless dancers vigorously shook breasts dancing Azonto in the full glare of over 20,000(Twenty thousand) patrons, including children, who had come to watch the concert which also had Davido, MzVee, Guru, Sarkodie, Joey B, Pappy Kojo and Shatta Wale as performers.
