A Federal High court sitting in Abuja today freed Aminu Oguche, the suspected mastermind of the Nyanya bomb blast which killed about 70 people in April.

Aminu escaped to Sudan after allegedly coordinating the attack before he was later apprehended and repatriated to Nigeria in July.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the court in it's ruling today, dismissed the two counts terrorism charges brought against him and freed him based on lack of diligent prosecution by the state.
